Carney says 2026 budget makes Canada caregiver credit fully refundable
Mark Carney said the 2026 budget makes the Canada caregiver credit fully refundable, allowing eligible caregivers to receive it even if their income is too low to pay income tax. He said the measure would provide more than $1,000 to over 580,000 Canadian caregivers.
