Myanmar election commission announces April 2027 by-elections for 39 seats
The election commission of Myanmar’s pro-military government announced on November 5 that by-elections will be held on April 4, 2027. The commission said voting would cover 39 seats across the two houses of parliament, including seats where voting did not take place during the general election.
