China's top procuratorate announces bribery indictment of former Politburo member Ma Xingrui
China's Supreme People's Procuratorate announced on November 5 that prosecutors in Yichang, Hubei, had recently indicted former Politburo member and Xinjiang party chief Ma Xingrui on suspicion of accepting bribes. Prosecutors allege he used senior aerospace industry and political positions, including Shenzhen party secretary and Guangdong governor, to benefit others and illegally receive property of an exceptionally large value.
