Japan and Vietnam set to sign pact on small modular nuclear reactor cooperation
Japan and Vietnam are set to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation toward introducing small modular nuclear reactors in Vietnam as early as 2040, Nikkei reported. The proposed agreement promises Japanese technology and training. Vietnamese President To Lam and Japan's Prime Minister Takaichi are expected to meet early next week for talks including energy cooperation.
