Lieberman authorizes coalition talks with Haredi parties, Amit Segal reports
Avigdor Lieberman has authorized his political bloc’s partners to negotiate with Haredi parties on the basis of his 2018 draft law, according to Amit Segal. Segal described the move as ending Lieberman’s years-long boycott of the Haredim while retaining his opposition to sitting with Netanyahu or Arab parties. The proposed negotiating basis includes economic sanctions on yeshivas only after three years and no personal sanctions, Segal reported.
