Israel’s Joint List backs Eisenkot to form next government
Israel’s Joint List said it would recommend Gadi Eisenkot to form the next government and support his administration from outside the cabinet. With Ra’am also backing him, Yonhap reported that the anti-Netanyahu bloc could secure recommendations from 67 of the Knesset’s 120 lawmakers, including 19 from Arab parties. The endorsements do not themselves establish a governing coalition.
