Iran reviewing nuclear proposals amid Qatar-led mediation, New York Times reports
Iran is reviewing mediators’ proposals that could shape its nuclear program, Al Arabiya reported, citing a New York Times report based on five officials briefed on the negotiations. Three officials described Vice President JD Vance as a key proponent of Qatar-led efforts to avert military escalation. Two Iranian officials and an American official said Mohsen Rezaei, identified in the report as head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, had shown greater openness to discussing the nuclear issue.
