USS Theodore Roosevelt strike group to stop in Singapore before Middle East arrival, U.S. official says
The USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier and its strike group will make a port call in Singapore on Friday and will not reach the Middle East for at least another two weeks, a U.S. official told CBS News on Thursday. Two carrier strike groups are already in the region, which officials say provides sufficient firepower to execute any commands issued by President Trump.
