LIV Golf abandoning relaunch and winding down, lawyer tells bankruptcy court
LIV Golf is abandoning its planned relaunch and winding down operations, a lawyer representing the organization told a bankruptcy court hearing Thursday in New Jersey. Matthew Williams of Gibson Dunn said the debtors were no longer proceeding with the LIV 2.0 plan and were instead pursuing a “value-maximizing wind-down.” AP reported that the decision followed a lack of financial support.
