European Council president voices aim to open remaining Ukraine accession clusters by year-end
The European Council president said the EU looks forward to opening all remaining clusters in Ukraine’s accession talks by the end of the year, stressing that progress depends on reform. In a post describing discussions with President Zelenskyy on the margins of the Ibero-America Summit, he also pledged continued EU support through the war, peace negotiations, reconstruction and Ukraine’s European integration.
