Israel and Germany extend energy cooperation agreement into 2027
Israel and Germany extended their energy cooperation agreement into 2027 for a fifth consecutive year, Israel's Energy and Infrastructure Ministry said. Signed during a German energy delegation's visit to Israel, the partnership aims to advance geothermal energy and nuclear fusion, deepen regulatory exchanges on cleaner fuels, and examine gas storage and transportation, alongside cooperation on energy efficiency, electricity-grid management and cybersecurity.
