Joint List recommends Gadi Eisenkot to form Israeli government
The Joint List officially recommended Gadi Eisenkot to form a government during consultations at the President’s Residence, according to the post, expressing hope for a minority government supported by Arab parties as a “protective bloc.” Senior Joint List leader Ahmad Tibi told President Herzog that the grouping would not join the government, but said no parliamentary move in the Knesset could take place without it.
