Israel’s Joint List says it will recommend Gadi Eisenkot to form government
Israel’s Joint List, an Arab political alliance holding 11 seats, said it would formally notify President Isaac Herzog of its recommendation that Yashar party leader Gadi Eisenkot form the next government. The alliance said its three factions unanimously backed the decision to oppose an extension of Benjamin Netanyahu’s rule. Raam, an Arab party with eight seats, had already announced support for Eisenkot, according to Yonhap.
